Latency and error rates for BNB Smart Chain have returned to normal since approximately 15:00 UTC. We are continuing to monitor and will resolve this incident once we are confident performance is stable.

Investigating

We are seeing elevated latency and a small percentage of intermittent 5xx errors on BNB Smart Chain, mainly for archive and trace requests served from our EU region. The issue began around 01:40 UTC on October 22 and has been intermittent since. We are investigating and working to restore normal performance. We will post another update shortly.
